Beef and Vegetable Soup – Homemade

This recipe is a favorite of mine. It is rich and full of flavor.

Start with a good size beef roast of 3 pounds or more. Place in a glass baking dish, season to your taste and bake in a 350 oven for 3 to 4 hours or till the beef is tender and falls apart with a fork.

Once the beef is fully cooked get a large soup kettle and then use a package of Soup Started. Follow directions on the Soup Starter package. Then add the cooked beef, additional vegetables, rice, cabbage and let simmer for 2 or more hours. Add additional water as needed.

Serve with choice of bread and salad.
